I bumped into him and Kevin Campbell once outside the Press Club in Manchester at half three in the morning in the summer when both were at Everton. He came across really well at that point whilst Kevin Campbell looked miffed that we didn't stop them to speak to him. It sounds like an all-too-regular example of yet another footballer not being able to enjoy the fruits of their labour and blowing it all. He was exceptional in his first spell for us. Port Vale away springs to mind. As such I find that sad to hear.
