Have you had time to watch it yet and did you see much difference to previous games, apart from that little bit of luck?

Have watched it now. I think we were good first half. The players seemed relieved to play a formation and style they were comfortable with. I think there was a need to clarify roles and simplify our style, and Morgan seemed to have achieved that with an orthodox 4-4-2.
Weir wasn't willing to do that. When Weir finally changed his formation he chose an oddly shaped diamond, which didn't help a team low on confidence and rhythm.
Second half we were ordinary, and overall I don't think we looked much better than an average third tier team. But we created more chances and looked comfortable defensively. A few players will benefit from actually succeeding in a few things they tried. The win should certainly give us a lift, but we will face tougher opposition, so will have to keep improving.
Does Blades Player show Lyle Taylor's disallowed volley? How good was it? I'd looked away

Glad you too think we were good first half. I sometimes think I see us through red and white tinted glasses, but I know you are more objective(subjective?) never quite sure which one is correct. Personally I thought the first half hour of the second half was poor, probably their goal knocked the stuffing out of a team very low in confidence, but I thought the last 15 minutes were good. Interesting what kind of show we put on tomorrow night against much better opposition.Have watched it now. I think we were good first half. As a matter of interest, can you tell whether Taylor was offside when he hit that shot ? I was convinced he was on side and I don't believe King who was sauntering back from an offside position was interfering.
