Does anyone else think we’ve found an extra dimension in the final third now Berge is starting to find his feet?

I feel like we are able to retain possession in the final third a lot more now as no one can take the ball off him.

Berge is going to be a top player. He creates so much time and space for himself. He also has the ability to just slip by players as if they are not there. It all looks very effortless too. Our first goal against Chelsea..... their defender cuts out the initial ball into the box but Berge just casually puts himself inbetween defender and ball and gets the move going again - leading to the cross and Didzy smashing it in.

All this type of stuff is largely unnoticed because it's not spectacular. However, it is very effective. He reminds me a bit of Tony Currie (ok I know lol, still miles to go before we can actually compare them like for like) but he just floats around the midfield looking completely unflappable.

He needed to find his game, we had seen clips of what the lad was capable of and it was concerning how he was struggling to impose himself in games.
But yet again, Wilder and Knilly seem to have pulled it off, and the boy looks to be getting stronger all the time.

Wilder says it all the time, but Berge could be a huge player for us in the next few years, and if all goes well he could be the figurehead of this club as it rises with him in stature and ability.
What’s also nice, is he seems the kind of lad who may just be completely dedicated to the manager and therefore the club, and put his happiness over any potential financial gains of joining the bigger clubs.

We will however need to compete near the top 6 and in European competition...maybe a cup final as well!
