They were the only two players that tried to create.
We have no other players in the squad who go past defenders to get to the the bye line or try and slip a pass.
Norwood plays cross field balls but dies not create chances
Fleck had a decent first half but again never creates
Brewster does not seem to know how to create space or run the channels and is subsequently unable to create for himself
Mcburnie comes short and loses possession and does not have the deft touch or ability to create for himself or to get involved with short interplay to create for others.

we need pace and skill to take us beyond defenders, Berge and Baldock (To an extent) are our only players capable and it is obviously not enough

Can’t fault Baldock work ethic but my god he is so predictable going forward. It is like sticking pins in your eyes because you know exactly what will happen of 2 things. One, play it back to Basham as he’s ran into a dead end, or two, attempt to put a cross in but comes off defender and we win a corner which is unfortunately took by Mr Oli NoGood who has 1 assist in 76 games & counting and has a success rate of hitting the first man of 90% of his corners in the past 50 games and incidentally leads to absolutely fuck all. Can someone tell me where Baldock made a positive contribution to us going forward because I’m fucking lost. I wouldn’t give the slightest of fucks if he left because he most definitely, ain’t a wing back.

what a game he had today. I don’t feel like he owes us. But he kinda does, we have give that big everything as a fanbase. Help us get back to where we belong.

Baldock's been linked with moves to Celtic, Norwich and Burnley. I love his attitude, he's a quality fullback, his interplay down the right is always excellant in terms of passing and movement, but I don't buy that he offers much going forward as a final ball or to take a man on - that's just not his strength. I think he averages about 1/2 assists a season and his final ball is generally poor. A superb full back but playing for us as a wing back; I'm sorry but he can go for me, I'd rather Bogle play but maybe I'm alone here.

If Slav is to play with a flat 4 and Baldock to become a fullback then he would be the best right back in the league, although Bogle is an excellent understudy and more development left in his career. I would imagine in time we will go to a straight back four, but when Slav gets us playing more attacking football I think that Bogle will offer us more on an overlap, Bogle can cross with right or left foot too and has that great knack of getting onto things on the far post like Lowton and Freeman did when they played for us.

I can see Berge going on loan as his value right now must be less than what we paid for him! A loan and then hopefully he excels and then we recoup what we paid, or we get promoted (I know, I know) and he can come back and play for us - long shot I know!

He’s a nice footballer , £20m really, got caught late on a few times , but overall he’s best if a lacklustre midfield, need legs and height in this league not addressed for years …. Pardon my ignorance but why don’t we bring coulibally over to have a look at ?

I keep hearing he should be running games at this level and he’s doing nothing of the sort. He’s huge but has a tenth of the determination of Derek Geary. I’m sick to death now of hearing what he should be. He’s not currently much at all.

For me he needs to justify his transfer fee with some good performances and get us up the league table. Then he might be entitled to a move which would be good for us and for him.

They were our two best attacking players and had maybe 100 touches each down the right, particuarly second half and still failed to get into the box, put a cross in, have a shot, or do anything that resembled anything threatening. I feel like I will fall asleep tonight watching Baldock and Berge tip tapping back and forth, back and forth, Then one might run a bit and then give it back to the other. Nice lads mind but please get in the fricking box. Drive a cross over. Do something rather than those safe little back and forths.

Love Baldock's attitude but not sure he will ever make a top wing back/full back as lacks the ability when it matters to deliver that final bit. Time and time again he gets into positions and time and time again nothing happens.

I'm not sure I'd be that arsed if either went.

Mind you could say the same about 20 other players in the squad at the moment.
