They are completely different players. Woodburn fills the gap Brooks’s departure created. While Woodburn can play off a striker, I don’t think this will stop us looking at getting a striker in – be that Waghorn or someone else.

Even if you do class this young lad as an out and out striker Wilder still said he wanted two.
Personally I think he's the attacking midfielder he was quoted as wanting.

The other thing that excites me about Woodburn and the other signings plus the talk about Freeman and Waghorn is how the tripe in S6 will be feeling,the upbeat,exciting transfer news,good players,players wanted by other top championship clubs and then there is the total lack of any good news coming from s6, selling players,no news of players coming in, embargo, price of tickets I accept it doesn't guarantee us having a good season or them having a bad one BUT am I enjoying the moment ?
