Some well-informed Merseyside football journalists are tweeting that Liverpool's Wales international Ben Woodburn, 18, is set to join Sheffield United on loan.

I have, and in the games I’ve seen him for Wales he’s been better than Brooks in my opinion.

Depends how many games we're talking. Villa have more quality than us so he's more likely to hit the 20-25 game mark here than he is over in Brum.

That's not really true though. He’s had a good career as a manager, better than many. It’s not easy even if you’re given money, ask Carloss, Nobbo or Clough. He’s a twat, a massive twat but you don’t win as many promotions as he has or manage as long as he has at the top level if you’re a fraud.

I think he’s a good manager and a decent human being. He had courage to speak out against the Ched shitstorm at the time. He didn’t need to do that but I respected him for doing so.

Think this would be a real coup for us if it goes through. Can see him lapping it up in the Championship with the service he will get from the likes of Duffs, Coutts, Fleck, Evans etc.

Very direct player on the occasions I've seen him and keen to prove a point!
