Not named on the bench any ideas If he is injured?

Cheers foxy, just missed it off by mistake and did not warrant the expletive from a poster who seems to have ideas above his station!

Brooks in the side, Woodburn isn't.

FFS McCaBe!

Brooks put him and Ampedu playing PS4 with Woodburn on Instagram t'other day. I imagine he'll be in the friendly squad because he's not had the minutes that others have.

He’s not injured, he was just left out – you can only have 23 of the 25 in the squad in the line-up. I’m hoping for, and expecting, a mostly unchanged side, other than Ashley Williams (who we know isn’t in the 23).

Unfortunately for Woodburn, his lack of game time has pushed him behind others that are playing more regularly and are in better form. That said, I hope he gets some time off the bench today.

Just come on for Wales. We got a mention and so did chip butties.

Bit of a dire half to be honest, not at all improved by Woodburn just passing it straight out for a goal-kick under no pressure.

New manager bounce over, Giggs Out etc etc...

Just had a good run and won a free kick in a dangerous area. Also made a good run through the middle crying out for a throughball but "I can manage" Ramsey kept the ball and ran it wide.

Goal kick pass was just a misunderstanding really.

Giggs needs to tell his senior players to pass to the young ones. It was the same with Brooks last season when he was getting his first few caps.

I am yet to sit through a Wales match where Ramsey hasn’t done something extremely frustrating to see.

Woodburn settled down a bit, and the free-kick he won was a result of some good skill and urgency. It seems like some of our fans are already writing him off – patience is needed, he has talent.

He bothered to close someone down so that was massively encouraging to see.

Ben Woodburn more like Ben Woodisn'tyetburning

I know what you mean. Young kid, early days. But he needs to stop panicking when he gets the ball. A bit more confidence and composure and the player may come out.

Seems to have bulked up a bit, as they mentioned in the commentary. Must be difficult playing for Bales, sorry, Wales. He goes for glory just about every time he gets the ball.

I think Ramsey is worse for that. The only player he will pass to is Bale, if Bale isnt on he shoots high and wide, if he can't shoot he tries to beat as many men as possible and loses the ball.

That was Bale’s poorest game for a while for Wales, but I’m amazed that’s your view of him – he will of course go for spectacular efforts (getting a good number of them too) but he is a fantastic team player, always has been.

Yeah Bale will pass, but has the talent to occasionally be selfish and you don't really mind it. Ramsey on the other hand...

Him and Wilshere, Christ knows what Arsenal were telling them to inflate their egos so much.
