Hopefully a short loan to League 1 next.

Oldham would be a good shout as Sheridan's teams play good football and it would be handy as it's close to where he lives. The downside being he would play on an abortion of a pitch, although from an experience point of view that won't be a disaster.

Bury are also worth a shout for the convenience of being close to home.

Rotherham and Donny would both be good South Yorkshire options.

Think its time to keep him and use him. If we hadn't got promoted, would we be saying loan him to Mansfield again? Probably. However because we are now Championship we are saying loan him to LG 1. If we got promoted straight away, we would be saying loan him to championship side. IMO he should be a bit part player off the bench and if he proves good enough, maybe a few starts.

I reckon he would benefit from a loan to a league 1 side till January and then see how it's going if he's kicked on again and we need him bring him back in if not extend the loan to the end of season it seems like a win win situation to me we allow him to develop and get a better player back whatever happens, I also think the same would benefit Reedy also he needs regular games at a competitive level he has nothing more to gain from U23's for another season

Mansfield manager Steve Evans picks him as his player of the season and he wasn't even there all season. I'd like to see how Ben Whiteman does for us in pre-season, could be a hidden gem.

Just watch C5 footy, Ben scored again for Mansfield yesterday with a 'precise finish'. Will he figure for us next year I wonder or back out on loan.

Think the lad has got real talent and am really pleased we haven't moved him on, he can pick a pass and has proved he can score goals from midfield. The only thing missing was that he seemed a bit lightweight but he is only a young lad and hopefully he as bulked up and got stronger. another one from the academy to watch out for!
