Are you like that bloke in the pub who tells a half decent joke and makes a few people titter, before he then goes on to say the same joke over and over and over again...to the point that everyone finds a reason to talk to someone else, go to the bog, play on the juke box, get whammed on cider in the corner, go and stand in the tap room....

Yes, most of us get it and i understand your point. I agree, there are some on here who might be a tad over officious in wanting the club to get players in within the next 5 mins, or maybe a little quick to moan at the club. Not saying your wrong. But every time i read one of your posts it seems laden with sarcasm about some people on this forum (for daring to express their concerns about the club in some aspect) and it's the same point you seem to make over and over again.

I'd say it might be worth waiting for people to actually say things before mocking them, as opposed to mocking based on what you imagine they might say. But I guess that would deprive us of such a hilarious joke...


As for Reeves, it's taken him a long time to get a move. There was no room for him here with Brooks' emergence, and the same might even go go for Holmes.

It's a very good signing for Charlton who are now overloaded with decent attacking midfielders.

Yes, most of us get it and i understand your point. I agree, there are some on here who might be a tad over officious in wanting the club to get players in within the next 5 mins, or maybe a little quick to moan at the club. Not saying your wrong. But every time i read one of your posts it seems laden with sarcasm about some people on this forum (for daring to express their concerns about the club in some aspect) and it's the same point you seem to make over and over again.

Given the time of season, and with the deadline quickly approaching, I would envisage that I'll no doubt enter the same debates, expressing the same views. Whether this is with reasoned debate or sarcasm, well I'll just see how I feel, but you're more than welcome to ignore, no offence would be taken.

You seem to have picked up on an extremely small proportion of my posts, on an issue that I have massive frustrations around and feel the need to air when I see fit. My posts follow the same pattern as my previous x amount of thousands - no abuse, nothing personal, just address the issue.

Yes your quite within your rights (as far as the forum rules go?) to continue to make the same mocking of imaginary posters joke time and time again. Up to you, no skin off my nose, just as it's within my rights to point out that the mocking of imaginary posts joke has probably gone a little flat now to most. Still, if that's how you get your kicks then crack on. I will just go and stand in the tap side with the majority of the others who want to have a sensible chat about the Blades occasionally without hearing the same 'hilarious joke???' ad infinitum.

If you took a fraction of the time already spent looking through at my posts I reckon you'll find that my comments on the matter, reasoned or sarcastic, are minimal. Outside of the matter my posts are again quite standard and inoffensive (yet excellent!).

After many years on this board I'm yet to have any personal duels or bad words with anyone, and I don't want to start with someone who I bare no grudge with and whose posts I often read and nod my head in agreement.

If you see a mid 30s bloke, who looks like he's about to wet himself with excitement in the pub pre match tomorrow, tap him on the shoulder and I'll get you a pint.

Apologies if my previous post(s) directed to yourself came across as being a bit arsy. That was never my intention. I like to read other people's views on all things Utd - that's why I try and read this forum whem i get 5 mins inbetween every day life commitments as it is sometimes a break from every day pressures and expectations.

There are some posters on here who I usually skip past there posts as they witter on in talking some right bollox (imo) or are just self delusional (no prizes for guessing the main protagonist for this category). They dont really add anything of value to the forum as they snipe and bitch but don't really debate. If they do, it is often with a self smugness and look how clever I am attitude. Your certainly not in that category for me.

For our little conversation, I have said my piece, you can choose to listen or ignore. Up to you, it's nothing personal. At the end of the day we all have something in common in that we want Utd to win and do well. Let's hope we all have a top day tomorrow (and enjoy your ale). Happy posting fella. UTB.
