Maybe he'd be used centrally by Wilder though, he did seem to suggest it was a left footed central midfielder he was after. I can't see him abandoning his interest in Ricky Holmes any time soon either, they couldn't both play on the left.

Pringle would be dropping down from the Championship, Holmes is 29, they'd both cost at least 250k and both prefer to play on the left wing, although they are different types of wingers.

Maybe we've missed out on Holmes? Charlton were said to be interested and it wouldn't surprise me if he chose them over us.
