Definitely do not want this guy, at 20 years of age he could possibly get better. I doubt at 25 he is likely to improve and he offers us nothing to “cement” himself a role in our starting 11. In fact Regan Slater could do that.

We have got to be looking at better quality than this. I would not want him if we were in the Championship - in the Prem it would be a ludicrous signing. Niggly player who constantly gives away needless free kicks. He’d get 3 or 4 red cards per season in the Prem.

Mrs Trig’s last boss before retirement from the NHS was called Heppolette. I only met him once and he nearly fell off his chair when I asked him if he was related to Ricky Heppolette. He‘s Ricky’s nephew, but was amazed anybody remembered him. I told him I could probably remember players much more obscure than that

It's (almost) true and even those already here did too, Billy got sharper, Basham had more clout, Clarke was a shoe in, Fleck made his mark.
There have been some failures though; Holmes, Morrison, Carruthers, to name 3 never did owt.

I don't get this signing if true. DM we have covered with Ollie/Sander that are far better players. Be very surprised if Pearson rocks up at the Lane.

Not being pedantic, but that is because they did not improve.
There is more scope to improve a young player from a premiership or top foreign club than there is to improve a guy who has spent years plying his trade in the championship.
I doubt we will sign him as he in my opinion does not at the moment offer us any improvement on what we have and when / if he does improve we will I hope have already moved on to bigger better things with appropriately skilful players.
