Osborn loan deal
Stoke and Millwall have shown interest in Ben Osborn but face a battle to land him on loan from Sheffield United.

Osborn, 25, has only made substitute appearances in the Premier League since his summer move from Nottingham Forest but Chris Wilder wants to make sure he has plenty of cover for the second half of the campaign.

Wilder relied on John Lundstram, Oliver Norwood and John Fleck as his midfield three in the first half of the season but is expecting injuries and suspensions to be a factor.

No I'm referring to Wilder, I'm sure you knew that! I've clearly got the wrong end of the stick, was it an interview from Osborn? I'm sure I've heard Wilder do an interview where he said Sharp wasn't going anywhere, unless Billy wanted to go I recall.

No idea about genuine situation + Summer signing + not forced way into team (forget to mention it’s because good form of others) + random mix of Championship teams interested + loan deal = easy page filler.

I like what I’ve seen from him. Think he falls into the Luke Freeman/Mo Besic category of doing absolutely nothing wrong, but the form of those ahead of him has been immense. Who the hell is going to drop Enda Stevens or John Fleck on their form??? But as is the same with Freeman and Besic; we’re only a red card or injury away from needing him as a regular. Would be crazy to loan him out IMO (same with Freeman).
