What about limiting the number of players a club can loan out to, say, 10 or 15...will that stop the buggers stockpiling kids?

He will have known from the numbers we already have that he would have to fight for his place, I imagine that Stearman is pretty miffed as an experienced player, but like Heneghan, he has to be patient as the team is doing so well right now, they cannot really argue with not playing. If you look at the first choice three right now of O'Connell, Basham and CCV - all three of them are playing out of their skin right now. CCV is probably the one of the three that people would say might be swapped for Stearman or Wright, but CCV offers so much going forward as well as defending too. People might forget that it was CCV's superb pass through to Leon "Diego Costa" Clarke that brought the foul that led to Wolves being down to 10 men. That was the biggest contribution of the game for me, as it gave us a huge advantage.

Heneghan and Thomas, as with Lavery, Lafferty and Hanson will all be desperate to play but maybe those not in the squad will go out on loan in January.

Not playing tonight. Not even on the bench. Is he injured?

Jake Bennett not getting close to first team either after signing earlier in the year and looking promising in a brief cameo appearance vs Walsall

I wonder why none of him, Bennett, Thomas, Lavery, Stearman or Hanson played.

Unless there’s a Burnley style behind closed doors game happening during the international break.

That was in no particular order, otherwise JoC wouldn’t be third!

Speaking of order, you don't have any contacts who can leak the Strictly votes this weekend do you? I don't have to fucking watch it then.

That’s out of my league mate, at the local chip paper. itsinyerblood is your man, he’s international you know!

Shame, I was going to ask you if Craig Revel Horwood is really that much of a cunt or if it's just "being the Pantomine baddy"

It's probably a bit galling when he's being kept out by a loan player.
But don't forget this was supposed be a consolidation season. Nobody expected the boys to be playing so well. They are simply unstoppable.
Wilder never considered this season to be one of consolidation but it was the expectation of many fans.

I'll admit to "finding it odd"
We've been riddled by injuries to our Academy Centre Backs. Keenan Ferguson was only back today. Callum Semple is only recently back. Sam Graham is out on loan. Attacking midfielder Jordan Doherty has been playing (& doing well I might add) as a makeshift CB. Heneghan is not getting a look in for the First Team. Yet he rarely features at U23. Surely he needs games at some level. I'm finding it odd
