Funny I was wondering about Heneghan today, also forgot about Thomas

Relax and enjoy what is ours at the moment. He'll be sat there after last Sunday thinking he wants to be part of this great Blades story. He and the rest on the fringe will be working extra hard so when they get that chance they can show what they can do. He'll also be inspired by ex players like Maguire coming back to support us when they get the chance. Especially since he once was a wendy.

Wilder said when we signed him that the lad needed work,i take that as meaning he's one for the future as long as he adapts and progresses.

Shame his spawn didn't carry a few more of his jenes!

He was poor yesterday.

Fantastic in the air, won the lot but his distribution was really poor. Simple passes along the back 3 were too heavy or wayward.
Passing through the thirds was not the best.

I feel for him a bit. He has gone from playing week in week out in the SPL to playing 3 games in two months.

If Heneghan is still learning at 23 years old then Graham and Semple have bright futures at 17 and 18 years old. If they are given the time to mature then our Centre Back positions are secured for a number of years.

Wright, Stearman, O,Connell, CCV, Heneghan, Basham, Semple, Graham. That lot have experience, ability, bottle, physicality and potential.

That's twice I've watched him with the 23s Tall and slim good head but distribution poor. Is capable of pushing on but only did so once yesterday. The previous game when he switched with Graham to the left sided centre back he got forward more often, although he is right footed Overall he looks like someone with potential but he certainly needs games.

Was really impressed with Graham pre season
Not seen semple

The great man knew what he was talking about. He put it into practice as well.

Indeed he was and did - I witnessed the thumbs up he gave the Blades fans on his last home game - it's one of those moments in football that will stick with my Blades memories for ever. Also - TC sat on the ball - the Scenes at MK last season post match to put two others at either end of the spectrum.

And last Sunday? You know, when Duffy shut the bouncing pigs up? :-)
