very good signing imo despite a lot of negativity on here about godfrey and if we can add tanganga and zatterson along with mee that has to be the end for robbo and rnd at the lane personally i wouldnt mind us reverting to 343 if we get these centre backs in and with that system we would get the best out of seriki and burrows their both wingbacks

I think this is the Right Back signing after doing The View From. He's very versatile but hasn't played Centre Back for years. His best spell at Everton came at right back and that's where he played for Ipswich

Many have pointed out that weeks ago this felt like a reach but results / performances in the interim mean it’s now welcome.

I know people moan about loans (me included) but while expensive with his recent history it at least gives us an out if he can’t play / get fit.

He has played for England and at this level you’d hope he’d maybe look comfortable - like holding did. Has to be easier than the PL / serie A to perform in.

Wasn’t as high on Godfrey when we were first linked but watching how Selles wants to play the centre backs need pace and the ability to defend wide areas, Godfrey and Tanganga both capable of doing that. Does seem like one will come in to play right back though if we’re also bringing in Mee and Zatterstom.

Suppose it takes the pressure off of Zatterstrom a bit in terms of his development.

If he's not ready for the 1st team right now, we've got other options there while he continues his development.

I've seen others suggest that too re Doyle but I find it hard to be that it was a choice of Robbo or Doyle because that's one heck of a difference in price/quality and Wrexham are also interested in Mee if you read reports do maybe if we sign Mee Wrexham still want Robbo?
