I used to go to school with his dad who couldn't get into the school football team. His mum was in the year below us at school and it caused quite a lot of controversy back then as she had to leave school at 15 to have him, his dad was only 16.

The goal at Crewe was a good strike from 30 odd yards to the right of the goal, but my memory of it was that Clayton Ince in the Crewe goal should have done a bit better with it...

According the the SUFC "Who's Who" (Clarebrough & Kirkham) he actually made 20 full and 6 sub appearances, scoring 1 goal, between July 1999 and April 2003. This included 19 (4) Football League appearances.
