If he’s available for loan I’d be all over this, 3 goals and 7 assists in 1787 minutes. The equivalent of a goal contribution every other match.

Ali from Luton would be a decent option on the wing but I can imagine we'll go for a loan on the wing like we did with JRS who is off to Southampton apparently.
 
I’d love us to get Josh Murphy from Portsmouth. He’s had an outstanding season on the wing for them and at 21 years old, he’s going to get better and better. Like his brother, he has electric pace and decent delivery.
I would expect there to be some pretty tough competition for him but he’s exactly the sort of player we need this season.

Doak tore us a new arsehole when he played for Boro earlier in the season, would be great if we could get hold of him.

Even though he’s a lot older than that I still think it’s a decent suggestion.

We need two players for every position. Him and Brooks would be a decent RW combo.

Josh Murphy's a LW isn't he, wasn't Matt Ritchie Portsmouths RW most games.

Ben Doak is a RW, would be a top loan if we could get him.

He’s played both sides but yes he’s largely played down the left for Pompy.

Still think he’d be a dangerous option for either side. Always had ability but seems to have found a bit more consistency recently.

Think Doak will be out of our reach. He tore us early in the season was one of the most impressive individual performances against us. Couldn’t get near him

This right here! I'm surprised no one mentioned Josh Murphy until now, Had an absolute brill season at Portsmouth looked a threat most games I've seen him in which granted I didn't watch a lot of Pompey but looks as if he's got a point to prove, Would probably only cost £3 million or something due to his age

Would definitely have Murphy, nice to see that he's got his career back on track after he was considering quitting football a few years ago, before he joined Oxford after having a bad time at Cardiff.

Agree that Ben Doak might be out of our reach though (but I would love to sign him), seem to recall a few rumours that Liverpool were going to recall him in January and loan him to a PL side, then he got injured.

Edit: that Samuel Illing-Junior that Boro had on loan from Villa (as Doaks replacement) looked quite good as well, wouldn't mind him on loan either.
