I'm absolutely shocked he did 70 minutes or whatever it was 😂 how did he pass half time AND the first set of subs? Worst player on the pitch today by a margin.

The pompey supporters wound him up big style and it worked, his head was somewhere else today.

There was a lot of hatred aimed towards him from Pompey fans. Just because he played for Southampton, or is there more to it?

Hopefully it is just fitness / sharpness but as well as struggling with the ball I felt he lost his man a lot defensively.

Lucky to stay on the park until half time. Could easily have got a yellow for needlessly bumping their keeper before losing his head completely for the one he did get carded for. Thought he looked well off it today.

Took his goal so so well (great run from him, top pass from Peck), could have had a 2nd too if Campbell squares it.
If this lad hits form we might have 2nd sewn up. Though if he does hit form that would make for an exciting trip to Wembley too...

Do we start him next game or is he super sub for a while longer?

The goal summed up what he brings to us

That's 2 in 4 already, when half fit. Should have been 3 if Campbell wasn't so disgracefully selfish

He'll be the difference maker if we're to do it

We need to find the right front combination ASAP though

This is controversial but if Campbell doesn't bag soon and Diaz keeps scoring... I'm going to be calling for Diaz as the front man with Rak-Sakyi, O'Hare and Hamer supporting.

TBF, Campbell was never going to square that ball to him, just like Cannon and JRS against Portsmouth on Saturday, strikers are selfish like that.

As for BBD, we'll use him the way he thrives, fast counterattacks, it's how he got a lot of his goals last season and last night.

Took his goal last night brilliantly. Love the dink over the keeper finish. Please please can he and Jack Lester teach our other strikers this technique. I have lost count of the number of one one ones with the keeper this season where we hit it low straight at the keeper who spreads himself and saves it. Campbell last night did it again! It’s not rocket science and I may be wrong but I don’t think it’s that difficult a technique to learn.

His goal was the perfect example of how we get the best from him,he knows the runs to make and when to make them,he finds space,he finishes.
Hamer can find him,Peck now can find him, early, quickly and before defenders can get set, break from opponents corners or turn the ball over and get it to him pronto.

To be fair to campbell I think he got the ball stuck under his feet a bit and then scrambled a shot off

It might seem harsh. But same midfield but BBD up front could be the way to go?

Gerrim upfront with Tyrese ont bench as back up. Hamer Ohare JRS is needed in that 3 behind ⚔️ #GrowTheLocksBack

i dont think we can criticise campbell too much for that miss after how hes done for us and we looked so much better when he came on also doubt many strikers would have squared it when he was clean through it actually was a very good save by their keeper

That was a £15M strikers goal that BBD scored last night and we now have that plus Moore, Campbell, Cannon, Brewster (O'Hare, Rak Sakye)

How that strike force is utilised by CW for the remainder of the season is gonna be really key to our ambitions.

Last night looked more like he had figured out his best players to fit the system.
