I'd like to think the Hull lads will call his bluff and see what Allam does, the cynic in me can't help wondering why he's so desperate to embark on a confrontational road with his customers and I'm keen to see what develops.

Because he feels there is a bottomless pit of idiots who will buy Premiership Football at any cost. Unfortunately no one has yet proved this theory wrong.

Nice idea, but wrong. The democratic process is somewhat skewed when the subtext is "Of course, you can oppose me if you wish, but I'll just call in my loans and you'll be finished forever" (Mr Bond Ahahahahahahah! he didn't add)

Funny how all the populace of Crimea have decided to declare their undying love of Mother Russia excatly at the same time their street of filled with Soldiers isn't it?

But the chairman said he'd bugger off if his wish is denied. What I'm suggesting is, Hull fans could protest to the extent that it drives the bloke away. But it will cost them their moment in the sun, so they won't do it.

…and as it turns out, the FA have don't the fans' job for them.
