It might depend where Villa sit in or out of the playoffs and who do they prefer to play the Blades or weeds.
If they prefer playing the Blades they can sit players and gift weeds the points.

If we go in 3 points ahead and win 3-0 going 6 in front with a 10 goal better gd . Don't think Leeds will score 10 in last 2 games v Villa and away
Mind you if we win at Brum and they lose at Preston beating Ipswich would put us 7 clear with 2 left if we maintain the gap

Mathematically impossible to secure promotion against Ipswich now. Best case is we win all three and Leeds lose their next two, which would put us six in front before their penultimate game. If it’s autos it’s either Leeds’ result v Villa or the final day.

However, our nearest rivals - Hull - were also on 83 points in fourth place and had to play their final match - away at Burnley - on Tuesday 15th May and a Hull win by three goals would overtake us. Pacing the garden with several stiff whiskies, I shat myself when Hull went 2-0 up (early goals, if I remember). It stayed at 2-0 and the Blades were up!
