I see Soccer AM have the same opinion of us a the footabll league show. How could Tonne's goal not feature in the goals of the week? I dont think Beattie will come. Seems to me he has told them we are interested to get otehr offers and if we are his reserve position I dont want him here.

what possible need does he have to use United as some kind of trumpeting heralding of his desire to return to football? Thats what his agents for!!! and according to danny wilson we ARE interested and he has spoken to him - that is what wilson said to the press.... so how can that be beattie using it to his advantage to get a better deal? Theres plenty of teams from the bottom three of the prem onwards would be interested in him. Give the bloke a break!

I hope he returns. At this stage of his career he has made his money & now surely must be doing it (mostly) for the love of playing. he enjoyed his time here so why not come & help us to promotion?
