Beating us would cost Hull £25m / eligibility criteria.

not true, if man utd finished 7th and lost in the semi you bet your sweet bippy theyd find a way to let them in , like they found a way for Liverpool to play in Europe 6/7 years ago, tv moguls are bricking it losing man utd fans in asia if they dont get into europe

Ahh, a conversation about who really runs football, FIFA, UEFA, The FA, The PL or the TV companies. I heard Scudamore last week having a moan about the PL 'brand' being diminished by the poor showing of Man Utd and the reduction in viewing figures particularly in Asia. He didn't quite say it, but the sound of the conversation suggested a 'we'll have to do something about this' attitude.

THE DARK LORD would not welcome any disruption in the force, he might see a cut in his income, referees aid will surely return them swiftly to the pinnacle, by foul means or even more devious, wait till we get 50 consecutive video playbacks in their favour,

I heard that even if we were to actually win the cup we'd still not play in Europe as Div 3 teams aren't eligable. True?

Why? I would imagine this comes from having to prove financial eligibility which third tier teams wouldn't do usually. However, it's been stated previously on Herr that we submitted accounts around the time of the Charlton match which should prove our eligibility off the pitch...just need to prove it on the pitch now!

Back to FFP, just seen this:
'But Pearson is also working to get the club compliant with Financial Fair Play rules. Even so, with losses recently posted at £34m for last year, it is highly conceivable promotion will cost Leicester around £20m in fines.' Link

And, if proof were needed that the Premier League has gone mad, since Abramovic arrived, Chelsea have spent £198m on 14 strikers or, excluding Drogba, £635,401 per goal scored by these strikers.

It's rumoured that if we win the Cup the FA have already decided to introduce a retrospective rule change forbidding division 3 clubs from winning the cup. If this was the case the cup would be awarded to Man Utd on the basis that if they don't qualify for Europe this will hurt the feelings of their customers in Singapore.

cant see how we wouldnt be eligible for europe when we get bigger gates in div 3 than most european clubs get, its nearly double what monaco get

That's easy. Month Python knew how to do it.

Next season the EPL will consist of Chelsea and Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U, or Man U , Liverpool, Man City and Man U.

Man U, Spurs, Man U, Man U, Man U and Man U :D
