Sincere congratulations to you all.

If Nigel Lawson called his daughter Nigella, surly Mr. and Mrs Beans could /should have Flecisity.

(Heh, on the quiet, couldn't you have planned this for the off-season, people expect your podcasts).

Wow thanks so much everyone, that’s a lovely surprise to log into the forum to see!

She was born just a minute or so before Fleck scored our first (so I learned much later - just want to be clear that I was not streaming the match on my phone while my Mrs gave birth) so I like to think she’s already doing her part for the team.

Thank you again for all your kind words, very humbled to see this and all the nice messages on Twitter too :)

haha I can picture it now,
"Just a minute love, Flecks nearly in here..." 😁

Wow, I assumed they were a couple of geeks who resided in their moms’ basements trawling rival teams’ forums and calculating XG stats. Never thought they’d have families and lives.
Seriously though, congratulations mate and best wishes to your family.

Congratulations Ben...that's close timing between the birth of your daughter and the Fleck goal...I hope VAR didn't get involved.

United launch their own podcast, Tufty club now on Spotify, and this fuckers having time off because he’s ‘having a kid’

Joke. Won’t be listening again.

Only joking. Congrats to you both.

Excellent news Ben.....hope you and your wife embrace all that parenthood has to offer.

As much as my love for the Blades extends to most areas of the club, family first is the obvious motto. I'm sure you and yours will give the young 'un the best start in life they deserve. Wonderful news mate, couldn't happen to a nicer couple.

So the child was born almost exactly 9 months to the day that we beat Leeds at Elland Road. So it looks like Bash wasn't the only one that scored that day - and perhaps it should count as another assist for Bash?

Beans arriving...

Sorry.
