There is literally more chance of shitting gold than us signing Josh Sargent this season - regardless of Norwich’s league position.

He had premier league interest in the summer and they were asking upwards of £20m where as we pulled the plug on a few final loans because we didn’t have the spare cash.

They’re not suddenly going to knock off 80% of their asking price because of their league position are they.

It’s totally unrealistic. If you actually think it’s a possibility you’re going to be rather disappointed.

One point for the season which has included home games against Ipswich, Forest and Leicester is nowhere near good enough if they are serious about staying up. They’ve spent a decent wedge as well.

On a separate note, Ramsdale could be looking at relegations with 3 different clubs. Not sure what the record is but he’s still young enough to have a good crack at it!

Hermann Hreidarsson went down five times with five different clubs, Nathan Blake also had five relegations but two were with Bolton, Marcus Bent and Nigel Quashie both went down with four different teams too.

Seemed good enough with us, one bright spark from last season, obviously needs a place and a system that suits him, he'd be great in the Hamer role, and move Hamer inside somehow
