We've found money to pay decent salaries so far. I wouldn't completely rule out BBD, but it would likely need to be post-takeover and towards the end of the window.

Sure he'll want to keep his options open in case a PL club comes in. I'm really surprised none of the promoted teams have. Looked capable. Would really enjoy having him here. Criminal we didn't replace Ndiaye with him instead of pissing it away.

He’d already signed for Villarreal last summer- he wasn’t available to buy at that time so it’s hardly ‘criminal’.

Is this just wishful thinking? Or are we actually linked with BBD? Surely he's above our level now? Came in and did well for last half of f season in prem, why would he want to sign for a championship side and no doubt take a paycut?
 
if we have the finances and no premier club comes in for him we must have a great chance of getting bbd back at the lane if that happens with hamer and ohare in behind were gonna score loads this season and thats without adding osula and brewster to the mix

Unfortunately it's the conceding loads that's the most worrying part!
 
To be fair, on past record here so far, adding Osula and Brewster won’t bring goals.
BUT…if we did get BBD to work with McB and Moore you would think there should be much less pressure on them for goals, and could be the season Osula starts to get it.

The sub impact role when defenders are tiring, we have been and are on top and he’s therefore not having to run doggies chasing defenders about will be a huge change for him. A relaxed team with OHare and a few others (all being well) creating chances and he should start bagging a few. His target for the season should be 5 minimum, with double figures being a great season for him.
 

I thought he was a bright light in a shitshow of a season. He tried hard, scored goals and provided hope when there was none.

I'd sign him in a heartbeat, but I can't help but think there might be a bit of John Brayford about this.
 
Pretty much 100% positive views on the player from the fanbase - that's saying something considering last season as a whole. Unfortunately, I've not seen any credible links suggesting Utd are in for him again. I would guess returning would only be an option late in the day should he not get a better offer (i.e. from a top division club).

I don’t think this is a dead rubber just yet!

What a signing this bloke would be if it came to fruition, it would turn us into real title contenders and not the 5th favourites at 12/1 the bookies currently have us down at.

I'd love him back but if there was a realistic chance would we have signed Moore amd renewed McB's contract ?

Ps assuming we have renewed McB's contract!

I know what you’re saying but they’re completely different players, the left hand side of a 3 is available and perfect for BBD.

I think we have enough money available to bring him in and some more, even without sales.

I’ve a feeling that Osula is being regarded as the man for that position, although obviously BBD would be a huge upgrade.

We'd be daft to be considering Osula as a starter for next season, he hasn't shown enough to warrant that.
I still think he'd benefit from some proper game time elsewhere. As we did with Jebbison, we're holding back his development by keeping him around the squad and only providing sparing minutes.

I have no idea what he’s been showing in training. Maybe Wilder & the coaching staff think he’s now ready. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the starting line up in that position, but we’ll see.

I’m not pushing for him to start by the way, as I said I’d much prefer BBD there.
