according to the bbc, fulham are after webber, we are after a player from levante called albert meyong ze, and says we are confident of beating others for halford, while also it says hull want lucketti. Rumours or true. but still no midfielders in that.

It's quoted Halford as being valued at £4m!
I have to admit I've never seen him play but from what others have said this seems to make Nugent sound like a bargain. Helluva lot of money for a defender

Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie, who has just returned from a loan spell at Stoke, wants to go back out on loan after falling out of favour at Villa Park. (Daily Mirror)

Reading will make a final £2m bid for Colchester defender Greg Halford, whose value they believe is being over-inflated at £4m by his club. (Daily Mirror)
