I've been one of those who has defended Simon Moore but without Henderson and a replacement as good, we'd be notably further down the league imho.

One decent save here and there that others won't make, and few errors can account for a fair amount of points.

XG2 considers quality of chances after the shot is taken. We defend quite deep and make a lot of blocks, which will boost our (in this case Henderson’s) numbers.

It isn’t a definitive stat to show how well a goalkeeper has done.

Incorrect. xG2 is based on shots that required the goalkeeper to make a save.
