It rings a bell but I honestly cannot remember why, when and what he did??

1) WHAT IS HE DOING?
2) WHY IS HE DOING THIS?
3) WHEN DID HE DO THIS?

I think I was there for that. Lap of honour for the squad at the end of the 92/93 season, which ended with a 4-2 (?) win at home to Chelsea. All of them (including Harry) were mobbed and everyone was grabbing their clothes.

Yes pretty sure it was, very funny though.

No it was after the last game of the 1994/95 season (we beat Grimsby 3-1)

Defo the Grismby game.

Dave Bassett quality mananager and man, the greatest manager in my time following the Blades and good they invited him to the 125th celebration, just a shame the club couldn't have burried the hatchet and invited the second greatest manager Neil Warnock to clebration as well, a bit petty I thought.

Interesting - must have been there for that one too. I'm surprised it happened at that game though - presumably fans would have been fairly disappointed with how that season went?

I think the fans reailsed Bassett had been screwed by the board, also before the kick off Brealey had gone on the pitch to sign a contract to build the New John Street Stand that summer, which picked the mood up, needless to say the stand wasnt built for another two years and then only under a new Chairman.

I missed the Chelsea game in 1993 because I was playing cricket. Went to the Grimsby game in 1995 and I remembered being surprised that Bassett was taking his clothes off and throwing them to fans. A woman at my work on the following Monday was telling me that she was surprised that Bassett had a well toned body for his age!

It is not the Grimsby game. The United player in the picture is wearing the 1993 shirt with a PL badge. It's the chelsea game.

I am 99% sure it is the Grimsby game. The sequence is on the the end of the 94-95 season video . The person wearing the shirt is a fan, not a player.

Foxy is converting my video into a DVD, so he can confirm for definite!

It's the Grimsby game, Bassett and the players came out at the end with a load of old shirts and stuff to give out to the crowd. My brother got one of Hartfield's old shirts which he later sold for fuck all like a dickhead.

Other than seeing Bassett in his pants *swoons* another highlight was a fight on the pitch between Whitehouse and Nilsen I think it was.

I remember this, wasnt there but heard about it, story i heard was he just got his kit off for a laff

If I remember correctly it was near that time at one of the home games that a well endowed lass ran from the kop with her top off..ran down the touchline(south stand side) from the kop as Deano was attacking down that wing, he looked across gobsmacked (nearly lost the ball...) as this lass with boobies bouncing all over reach the bench jump onto Sir Harry's lap and shove her boobs into his face...funny as f**k... :D:p

That was in the 2-1 win against Villa in March 1991. This streaker ran between Deano and Paul McGrath (there was a photo of them in that evening's Green Un) before making a beeline for Tony Agana on the subs bench and kissed him (Bassett was probably in director's box at the time) before the policemen caught her
