Thought their bloke was through and gonna square it, but then arrived Mr consistent and took the ball away from him. His reaction after was absolutely priceless. Quality performance but agree was walking a fine line with some of his tackles.

I was immediately expecting a red, and was surprised/relieved/delighted to see a yellow brought out.

I feared the worst, said at the time that it was exactly the kind they give early season to try and 'make an example'.

Certainly be a real risk if he tackles like that away at the “big“ clubs. I thought the ref was excellent today, we were hounding like a wolfpack and getting a foot in but no fouls given despite them falling down and the usual histrionics. Just hope we get treated the same elsewhere.
