I've spoken before about needing to upgrade Bash but eff me. The lads been ridiculous past couple games and it seems to me he's worked on his crossing and other bits and bobs during the international break. Past couple of games he's whipped a couple of brilliant crosses in behind the defence, Clarkes touch ruining one such cross tonight and Billy's poor effort for one on Friday. Clearly he's worked on his play in the final third.

I thought Fleck or Clarke deserved MOTM but Basham wasn’t far behind.

Been outstanding this last few months and according to Blades Analytics on Twitter has the second highest percentage of successful take ons (dribbles) of any defender in the league. Bearing in mind he’s against wing backs there, that’s pretty phenomenal.

Not only has he stepped up, he’s been a top performer at this level. Well done Chris.

Basham has been pretty consistent for some time now but he’s definitely upped his game since the arrival of his Youngun. He knows what it feels like to not be in the side so he’ll be doing everything he can to stay in it and my word is he doing it very well indeed.
