I will say this from a pure statistical basis, we are number 1 team (last time i checked) for errors leading to goals, and Bash is at the top of that list for most personal errors.

Is it not possible to think a player is playing well and has had some great games, but also identify that they're a weak point who is liable to make a mistake and should be someone who we are looking to upgrade?

Absolutely, I luv the guy he gives everything to the team and the club and he will forever be a legend here, but the stats don’t lie like the other poster has said, majority of our goals against have been from errors and he’s top of the list, sorry if it upsets people but facts are facts, he’s a weak point and if we want to survive first then compete in the top half, we need to replace the weak links.

I've watched the lot and I've only been concerned with our back up keeper and the lack of goals off the bench. Neither are Bash related.

I was surprised he wasn't replaced in summer but he's kicked on and been much better than I expected. However, he's the weak link at the back. Most likely to head it poorly, most likely to give the ball away, most likely to lose his man.

It's a position difficult to replace though given its uniqueness.

Bash has exceeded my expectations this season and doesn’t deserve this.
Our shortcomings this evening were as a collective attacking threat, there wasn’t any one individual at fault or to blame for this evening’s result - the whole team fell short of the required standard.

That is really harsh. Carrol is hard work when he plays well and tonight he played well. He's a premier league #Nile ranger in that he's mostly injured or shit but on his day he's a right handful.
