Your searching ability is probably not the best... several threads already on this.

McG has 4 yellows according to sky sports
I don't spend my whole time searching for s24su threads or religiously use this site :)

And can't find anything to do with McGoldrick on the FA website, so someone's facts are incorrect

Soccerbase has him on four, I don’t think he’ll play, to give him a rest, Northyorksblade thinks he will as he’s ex-Forest. One of us will be right....

Anyway, when I need an SUFC related fact, I consult Silent Blade, you could do the same :-)

McGoldrick's booking on saturday was daft as well for a player of his calibre. If Duffy is fit I'd bench him on saturday, we need him against that Pigs defence, his football brain will bamboozle them because they haven't got a clue. He'll take those defenders into midfield, out wide, stretch them allover the pitch.

It's annoying because we could do with him for both but we can't afford for him to miss the derby.

Regarding Bash I think we should bring Cranie in if Egan's fit or not. Him and Stearman could both use the minutes and no need to take any risks with our central centre half before we play them.

Not being funny but you posted the link to the site where it shows and confirms it. Next to the "Existing" suspensions is a box that shows players "one caution away" . Should make for an interesting game against the scabs on Saturday as they have three players who are one away from a suspension.

Ah yeah, my bad

Difficult decision with McGoldrick against Forest because we could really do with him against Wednesday - especially if Duffy's out.

Then you also have to factor in the desire to play Sharp and Clarke against Wednesday - I'm sure Wilder will want to. In which case, McGoldrick surely plays against Forest. Risky. He'll have to be careful.

Although for me, McGoldrick and Sharp (with Duffy) is probably the best way to go against that Wednesday team.

Basham has to come back in regardless.

On the plus side the scabs have a tough cup derby against FLN tomorrow. A few niggling injuries and assorted cards from that one could be a reight snecklifter for us.

I know it’s hard not to take the pig game in isolation, but in reality they’re just a middling Championship club on a downward spiral. Just keep doing what we’re doing, and the derby game will take care of itself.
They’re a poor Wigan, we’ll smash em.

Spot on. Forest are a major rival for promotion.
Leaving out key players to preserve them for the Wednesday match would be madness.
Fortunately, CW won’t be daft enough to do that.
He'll pick what he sees as our best team available and worry about that lot later.

I reckon he may start with Leon and McG, and use Billy in the second half.

Do we know the extent of Duffy's and Egan's injuries? I was disappointed with our midfield / attacking passing play on Saturday, makes you realise what an influence Duff is

Cards won't make a difference as they're competition specific this season, probably to stop players gaming the system and getting a 5th yellow in time to sit out FA cup ties. Extra time and an agonising defeat on penalties for Forest would do me fine.

Thanks for the correction. Didn't know that. We'll settle for a few knocks and extra time then.

Hope Duffy is back for this one. Having had a look at current fair play statistics it seems that The Treetards like to do a nice bit of fouling. Think with the skill that Duffy provides we should get a fair few freekicks in dangerous areas and may even a penalty or two.

Change the drop down box to Championship,

I'm a little confused by the competition specific as I'm reading it as the carabao cup does count for the totting up of yellow cards... Maybe because its an English Football league Competition.
The Fa site states.. .. .. Point 4 in the memo headed ‘Competition Specific Sanctions for Cautions’ states: “For the FA Cup, FA Trophy and FA Vase, the accumulation of yellow cards will be Competition specific
It doesn't mention the carabao Cup.

According to tonight's Star Billy only needs Leon to feed him ace passes to his scoring foot. Tons better than our midfield s assists.

Cranie eh? That would be interesting. I think the last time he kicked a football in a competitive match it had laces in it and was coated in dubbin.

I’m looking forward to seeing him play but I’d rather not give him a whole game to start with. Still, what do I know? I don’t see him train every week and I can’t ever remember seeing him play. It’s just a name to me.
