Not sure "play" is the right word. He usually stands wherever he feels like.

In all seriousness, he seemed to be put either wide right, or just behind the forward, to little effect, for us.

Took a couple of good penalties and one or two decent corners, not sure about free kicks. I seem to recall him attempting to cross with a couple, but they were standard Blades fare. Hit it somewhere in or around the box. Anywhere in that region will do.

He is ALWAYS looking to play a through ball, that's his main strength. 90% of them weren't accurate enough and he had games where he gave the ball away almost every time. If you have plenty of pace up front and out wide, coupled with opposition players that stand off him, he could have good games. He wasn't fit enough to play central midfield, and was given a free role for us.

If I was an opposition manager I'd target him, and look to win possession in good areas.

Allowing Callum McFadzean to come on and score. It should have been a penalty but the balance of the team improved when Robson departed.

My abiding memory of Robson is his asinine behaviour just before half time in the Carlisle game which caused the ref to blow for half time rather than let him take the corner.

Barry Robson will stand out for me as being the player with the biggest gap between self-perceived and actual ability that I've ever seen.
