Nope - just same as Brewster - even though contract expired on 30th June - players are entitled to a final pay day of old contract on 31st July if they have not signed for another club, so basically - he’s had his last £30 k a week payday - his family are settled - he’s probably been offered a role linked to coaching too. He’s 37 in December. He’s injured anyway with a minor knock until end of Aug. So it’s an easy decision for him anyway, most Pigs I know don’t think a takeover is close now as everyone is waiting for Chancers finances to truthfully unravel.
