Woodburn if he's still here, Leon, Stearman, Lafferty, Bryan if fit, Lundstram, and anybody who comes back from a loan in January.
Might give Moore and Wright a run out.

They did have. I saw them play Chesterfield at The Proact, about five years ago. They had one striker that took the eye: his name was Steve Kabba.

Just a thought.....given that we're mostly in the dark about the Board's intentions regarding the January transfer window, it might be that we end up looking for players who cost a few hundred grand rather than in the millions.

I stand corrected, was told he went back last week

Given we can’t terminate the loan till January 1st, and he can’t play for Liverpool’s first team till the loan is terminated, I’d treat any rumours of him being sent back already with a pinch of salt. It would make almost no sense to send him back now be that from our perspective, Liverpool’s, or Woodburn’s – hence why he hasn’t been.

Whilever Woodburn is still here, the door is open for him to make an impression.

Prize money doubled to £135,000 for winning a third round match apparently.
Not a financial game changer but not to be sniffed at.
Sort of dosh that might help cover a Prem loaning or similar.

Didn't know they did loans for a week!

He has played for Liverpool U23 twice since he's been on loan, think that's why people think he's gone back. Believe he turns out for them because their U23 are in the premier division and therefore better quality.

He was still Watford boss then. I expect he watched us against Bournemouth.
Yes, the night before the Bournemouth match he met Brealey and some of our directors at a hotel near Bournemouth. Yes, he watched the match (think he stood with the home fans) in the next day.

Not sure about Frank but Harold Wilson wasnt in Gladiator.

He was in the KGB though.
They both were. Frank was one of the gladiators (the one with the net, trident, beret and raincoat) and Harold was the trainer but they had to use CGI as he khaked it halfway through filming.

So in short if we get to the final we can almost wipe out our debt, win it and we'll have some change too! Happy days.

Sunday 2pm bit of an odd one isn't it?

Many roast dinners will be late or not had at all.

Still, might be better than a Tuesday evening for the attendance.

At least the prices are reasonable. I’m looking forward to it! Let’s have a good cup run again.

Hmmmm, is it on tv???

1-0 I think cadette scored off top of my head, I remember the utd fans giving them a standing ovation and chanting "yellows!"
Mark Dempsey scored at the Kop end from about 20 yards out. You are correct about the standing ovation and chanting "Yellows" although on the Kop we were stood up anyway!

Memory might be deceiving me but did Bassett sometimes move from the dugout to the kop during matches? Seem to remember him doing it on a televised game once.

strange news story but could impact us as John still hasn't been sacked but he decided to strangely retire from management halfway through the season but will remain with Barnet FC as Head of Football overseeing the Academy Manager, London Bees Head Coach & Darren Currie who will continue in his role as First Team Coach & take temporary charge of all first team affairs

https://www.barnetfc.com/news/2018/...-from-football-management-at-68-years-of-age/

Seen that john still has left the Barnet job and that he was focusing on training his protege Darren Currie bit of a long shot but could he be the next Barnet manager after John still
