Obscure point but don't think I've read it anywhere else: do we only have one match ball?

Now I'm not blaming this for one second, but it seemed strange when we were pushing in the last ten minutes, every time the ball went out, it'd take an age to come back and their defence could reset.

Maybe there's a perfectly good reason but in this day and age and especially as a lot of home games this season we've been pushing late on in games, we'd have ball boys with a spare ball ready to keep the momentum.

Just an observation...

Because when we last used the multiball system it confused the ball boys' little minds and they kept chucking two balls onto the pitch for no reason.

I seem to remember it being a rule change a few years ago that there is only one ball, it stops multiple balls ending up on the pitch if one is thrown on from the crowd.

Because numptys in the crowd kept chucking the ball back onto the pitch instead of just giving it back to the ball boys.

I thought Multi balls systems were not allowed in Leagues one and two.
