Coincidentally i just watched this the other day for the first time and was wondering about that match. I didn't go, but was it obvious to those attending it was for a tv show?

I was there - in the Westfield Corner right above it. I twigged pretty early it was a wind-up but just thought it was very very entertaining - proper cringeworthy. Especially enjoyed the bit where the guy was so embarrassed by it he got up and left - having to persuade the stewards to open the gates for him to get out.
