David Peach (Southampton defender) was one of the ball boys in the 1966 World Cup final.

Julian Darby (played for Bolton in 1980s and 1990s) was the ball boy behind the goal (and celebrating) when Frank Worthington scored that great goal against Ipswich in 1979
