I've just had the email from SUFC promoting odds of 33/1 for united to win on Friday (new customers only). I've clicked the link, registered and dumped a fiver in the account, but I can't seem to fathom how to access the odds being offered. Am I being thick?

Didn't one of the bookies refuse to pay out on winning bets because 'the odds (for an Arsenal win) were obviously too great' so it was clearly a mistake.
I'd say those odds are right off the board.

you've had to deposit a minimum £5 and the max bet on the blades is £1 I believe

Dont know if you are bothered but the max bet is £1. If you win you get paid the normal odds (whatever they are) and the remainder of the 33-1 is paid as additional bets.....so not nearly as good as it first seems. Hope this helps

Quid max bet.
New customers only.
Winnings only paid in free bets.

Yep, I've got all. But how the funk do I access the odds? Clicking through from the email doesn't work, there's no promo code anywhere to enter, there's no offer available on the match page.

Hmmmm

Just place a bet on United. It's not 33/1. It's the usual price and any winnings are paid as free bets at 33/1 not in cash.

It probably won't actually show the odds at the price stated as you don't get paid at that rate, they will just credit the 30 or so quid worth of free bets to your account after it is done.

Take a screenshot of the offer. Place the £1 bet as normal even if it doesn't state the 33/1 odds. If it comes in and doesn't return the correct amount, go on to the live chat and send them your screenshot.

The offer will no doubt refer to terms and conditions. Bookies are usually competent in covering their backs legally and have offers like this regularly.
Probably be a restriction of some sort of cashing in winnings on free bets as well.

If it comes in you get £34 quid back in free bets. As the ad no doubt states. Screenshot won't make a happorth of difference whatsoever.

He'll get paid the actual odds in real cash, it's just the rest that'll be free bets. At least that's how it worked when I piled on Mayweather with them a few months ago

Ladbrokes must fancy us to win because they keep pushing offers on Leeds to win in their shop windows.

I'm aware the bet would return in free bets. I'm not suggesting it likely or unlikely, but the screenshot would be handy in case it came in at normal odds instead of the 33/1 stated.

It was the same for pigs match. Small print may say max 1 quid bet. I think they will enhance the winnings as opposed to it showing when you place the bet.

I got stung by this last month in the game against the pigs. Maximum £1 bet and it has to be the first ever bet placed on your account - it's in the smallprint. I put an acca on first and then literally a minute later put this one on and I didn't get the payout in free bets that were promised, wasn't impressed but hey we'd just smashed the pork at the piggery so I wasn't that upset :D

Top tip. Fortunately this was my very first bet.

The "Customer Care" team aren't too forgiving either and just say it's in the smallprint. I did say I felt it was a poor show and that it should be advertised that it has to be the very first bet but they had none of it. Probably a mardy pig.
