While we might not appear to have suffered in terms of league position from the Hull game, it has done a lot of damage in other ways. Fans are confused because that display was not recognisable compared to how we have performed in the last two seasons, as must the coaching staff be. Now that doubt has reared it's ugly head there is no telling what damage has been caused in the players minds, and anxious fans are now waiting for the inevitable fall off in standards, as history has taught us to believe, rather than getting fully behind the team. Sure it is only one bad performance, but everyone has to carry on believing and making sure we are not totally derailed by it.
That's an incredibly negative outlook . So negative I'd be inclined to call you out as a pig trying to stir shit up if it wasn't for one simple overriding truth . Your views echo those of a substantial minority of Blades .
That's why the support that's declining both in numbers and noise will continue . Our players will soon start to hate playing at home because of the fractious negative support they're getting .
And on it go's.
It's all so mind numbingly predictable .
