I've almost enjoyed watching England this week, which was a bit refreshing considering we were such a let down during the World Cup. There are players that I can relate to more now like Jags, Adam Johnson and Cahill. I hope they don't get dragged into the Terry and Cole club....
But with all the bickering on here in the last few weeks, some I know was meant to be light hearted but has been taken the wrong way - It'll be great to get back to proper football again!
When I'm overseas I'm sure I go through the same as everyone else that can't get to the game. Checking the texts, reading the morning papers on the internet etc etc
I'll be out for a mates birthday today, but will be nervously waiting for my phone to go off, switching on 3G to check sky sports centre, getting the vodafone message to say i'm over my data limit....
We may not be the best team in the world, land, north, but we're the best in our city and Its good to get back to the real business of 2nd tier football with average players. I'm buzzing this morning as i cook me (late) breaky, pot of yorkshire tea on the go, slightly hungover, sitting down tapping a way on here whilst listening to my "countdown to kick off" on the iPod and annoying the Swiss peace and serenity
