don't rely on those timings...
You'll be pushed to do Yeovil or Bournemouth in under 5 hours one way, especially on a Saturday

enjoy

Im looking forward to this yrs fixture list release should be some decent away days... Picked 12 out minimum i intend to attend. UTB

Living in Thatcham (near Reading) I was gutted at ALL 6 of the teams to leave league 1 this season as they were all do-able easy away games for me. Southampton (45 mins), Brighton (1 1/2hrs) - both good days out on the coast too, Swindon (30 mins), Bristol Rovers (1hr 30 mins max), Dagenham (unsure but London so easy), Plymouth (ok maybe a stretch but still only 2 or 3 hours and again on the coast).
These have been replaced by: Preston (nope), Scunny (nope), Chesterfield (nope), Bury (nope), Stevenage (just north of London but checked and its 3 trains, a tube and 2hrs 20 mins - still doing it tho!), and Wycombe (ah, an easy one at last).
The one consolling factor of relegation for me is that I get chance to go to a lot of new away grounds but they all went and got bloody relegated or promoted the inconsiderate sods.
Wizards.

I was disappointed to see Peterborough go up, now my nearest away match is Colchester.

I did a job in yeovil 2 saturdays ago and got there in 3 hours 40 minutes, having said that took me 5 hours to get to bristol yesterday

All the above are Michelin via, RAC estimates return trips from BDTBL

Some fun trips on there! I'm going to try and do all the local grounds and ones in the north west. Pigs, Chesterfield, Notts County, Preston, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury and Tranmere will all be on my hit list for away trips. One or two of those will be competitive for getting tickets no doubt. Fans will need to be keen if they want one.

Some great trips to look forward to I intend going to every Sat away match by train which will include a few weekends away in the South West.

so .. how you finding the new ferrari?

Them timings are blatantly wrong. As if it would ever take over four hours to get to Milton Keynes from Sheffield.

I'd be surprised if it took that long to get to London, which is about 10 junctions further down the M1!

its return journey times, mileages are round trip ie 2 hours 7 minutes to milton keynes x 2 = 4 hours 14 minutes so mileage is 115 both ways
