Hi anybody tell me where the away fans can go at Barnsley before match for a quiet drink thanks in advance

Can’t remember the last time we played Barnsley away that wasn’t a 12pm kick off and fully supervised by half the countries constabulary, marching folk to and from the train station.

You’re probably best off going somewhere like Wombwell then making your way in when it’s time.

Not going myself but been to East Dene WMC in the past. They invite away fans on their face book page. Parking available for a fee if you get there early enough. In the past they've had one side of the club for Barnsley fans and one side for Blades. Only 10 minute walk to ground.

If you don't like your car then this is the place 🤣

And the Dove Inn same road bit further up.

East Dene WMC and The Dove Inn just up the road are the designated away pubs nowadays. Both about 5 minutes walk to the ground.

2nd closest game I can go to after Donny.

Bramah's
Courthouse
Bar Ruelle
Old No. 7
Annie Murray's
White Bear
Chennells
Chambers
Corner Pin
Kestrel

As long as you're not wearing a Blades shirt and acting like a twat you'll be fine to drink anywhere.
You’ll be fine in a blades shirt really in any pub. Just keep ya sens to yasens and you’ll be Reyt as rain. It’s them Stoneys and goggles that liven situations up

If you want to look like a local up with the latest fashion trends, cheesecloth shirt, loon pants and stack heels. If it’s cold or wet, donkey jacket.

If they ask you if your married, its best to tell them it's to your sister!!, that way they'll think your one of their own, if you tell them she's 14, you might even get a free pint👍
