Went into the Superstore today (to get my Dad the home shirt), despite launching the kit yesterday, they haven't bothered to put one on display.
WhateverThey didn't launch it, they unveiled it.....![]()
There is no 3rd shirt planned confirmed by big J himself.
Unless a third division team has recently changed to play in a combination of white, red and Macaw with black trim...
Sorry Breeny, I meant no personal attack, its just that the word 'technical' has been creeping into general and particularly sporting misuse of late........'technical area' (Football commentatorese - meaning bit of grass where the manager is allowed to stand)......'a very technical descent' (Tour de France commentary - meaning steep, winding road)....the first online dictionary I consulted says;
technical/ˈtɛknɪk(ə)l/
adjective
noun
- relating to a particular subject, art, or craft, or its techniques.
- involving or concerned with applied and industrial sciences.
- resulting from mechanical failure.
- according to a strict application or interpretation of the law or rules.
- (in areas with guerrilla warfare) a small truck with a machine gun mounted on the back.
don't get me wrong, I'm hugely interested in the technology of fabric, the warp, the weft, the way you stretch woven cloth on the bias, the topology of knitting, indeed, knot theory and the way crotcheting grows 'organically' so can be used (coincidentally) to imitate the building of corals and their reefs.
But because adidas® stick different bits of fabric together just to make a shirt look as though it cost more to make than it really did.... isn't technical in my book - just sly.
just looked it up - perhaps the commentators use it correctly - it meant art or skill in Ancient Greek, so maybe they should call the penalty area the 'technical' area but then again only in the Premier League?
Shouldn't the 2015-16 appear at the very beginning as well ?

Was it even that many games?they seemed to abandon that black kit after about 4 games last season
Never really got the issue with this. Yeh it was unsporting of Arsenal but they didn't break any rules. Utmost credit to Wenger for offering to replay the game.
It was David Dein's idea rather than WegnerWas it even that many games?

Fluorescent hi-viz away shirts, or even goalie shirts, are great for hitchhiking in, especially at night. Now, if they could just add a few flashing lights to this design for next season, I need never join an away shirt thread ever again.View attachment 12704
I think me and you over the years have been about the only people around who view this as the finest Blades kit (change - never mind this 'away' bollocks, you wear it for a colours clash) ever made. Bring it on Jim. I'd even accept the chevrons having just 3 stripes to keep Adidas happy.
Love the Logo on the Front of the shirt ...My new away shirt is looking quote good.
