Under Hecky. And I do like him, he talks well, seems really likeable and the lads obviously love him.

But if we are to trouble the top two we need to have some sort of idea away from home, and we don’t have one. We looked terrible in nearly every away game last season even in our good run, the shackles are well and truly on and we feed off scraps. Only takes one mistake and we are a goal down and it’s game over more often than not.

I thought the Forest game might’ve changed how he sets up, but here we are again with the same conversations. Makes dropping home points even more costly.

Has to learn. And learn fast. We have an embarrassment of riches in attacking areas especially if we sign McAtee - shackling them away from home is embarrassing and pretty much ensuring we don’t finish in the top 2.

Sort it out. Immediately. We’ve already given a below par Watford a 3 point head start.

I was disappointed that Brewster didn't start , he is our best chance of getting goals this season.

Hecky not being a good manager has something to do with it
He doesn’t need to be, we have the players and the system built - just pick the right 11. And give them the right approach rather than playing for a 0-0.

I’d rather have the Clough approach to away games than Hecky’s

What good would that have been today? They’d be feeding off scraps like in every single away game we play.
Have to agree and with Watford fans their midfield was poor goes to show how shite our is!

Terrible display to start the season with a well drilled Millwall to come on Saturday......stinks of last season....
Complete change to the teams structure required...

I've never understood why there should be a different approach to away games than there is for home games. Its 11 v 11 on a rectangle of grass and it shouldn't matter where it is, the game is the same.
Me neither mate. But we look so lacklustre away from home. It’s bordering on embarrassing especially live on telly.

Apart from taking off Fleck instead of Norwood I'm not sure what he should have done different outside of Khadra for Clark at half time instead of too late?
And therein lies your problem. You’ve identified what he should’ve done, but didn’t do.

It’s the same story most games. His subs make next to no impact on the game.

Osborn at right midfield was 'different'.

The subs weren't the reason we lost last night though.

“Stinks of last season”

The one where we finished 5th after starting in November? Right

We actually miss Connor Hourihane.

I was running through the games earlier he’s taken away from home, they’re worse than anything Slav served up: Derby, Coventry, Stoke, Preston (2 goal lead against 10 men), then yesterday, add that into the mix. And there’s bound to be some I’ve missed off.

Absolutely abject performances.
