Avoiding relegation next season

No, I'm not angry nor bitter talking to you (is this the fourth personal insult?). I underscored, purposefully, the thing you call community, because I'm not the only one having a different opinion than you. There are many people following this forum seeing things somewhat like me, at least. It's/It would be a sorrowful community. But hey ho, you guys just want to drive us away... I don't believe for a second that people like me like me wouldn't be sincere following the Blades and wishing all the best for the team, as I am. As for the "personal insults", perhaps you might explain yourself - it's easy to just swipe them away saying they are personal insults. (I did bother to answer your earlier message, which was - at least by the standards you seem to have set - a long, rambling, insulting post about me.) As for me not being around long, depending on the moderators, I should believe they'd let me stay registered here. Obviously I'm not keen on contributing here, so many thanks for "allowing people to have different views" on this forum... What a joke. Have a currywurst and a beer, and calm down.

The irony of you, seemingly the most high strung poster on S24SU, telling someone to calm down (with a bit of needless stereotyping as a bonus)

Well you're a liar for a start.
You're either here to wind people up and start confrontations or you've some serious anger problems. It doesn't take long to look down your posting history and see what you're about.
Rather: I must've been dead drunk, then.

Drunk? It would seem that you’re hurting real bad when most Blades are on a high.

Ok, your posts have a definite whiff of familiarity about them but just assuming that you‘re not Pork, why would you want to write-off next season before we’ve any real idea how the recruitment is going to pan out? We weren’t going to spend big in January then broke our club record again. We were written off in the Championship after the first season and came back stronger than ever. Your OP isn’t incisive or worthy of discussion because it makes assumptions about a negative scenario that hasn’t happened. Something the goons on Porktalk seem to thrive on because there’s nothing else to hope for in their sad lives what with their shit team and farcical owner, hence why as I said your post (sadly) also has a definite whiff about it.

I'm sure Foxy can check the IP address where posts are generated. Or others on here after a good old sniff around. Bread and butter to me but currently want to watch a match😎Unless VPN in play!

Yeah, I thought that, but it doesn't matter really. And I'm sure Foxy has better things to do. I just find it odd that there is a steady trickle of posters who are disruptive and deliberately aggressive / confrontational. No sooner is one banned than another pops up.
It's not like there aren't a miriad of opinions voiced on here, this "you're not welcome if you disagree" bullshit is so far from the truth it's ridiculous - the difference is 99% of people can manage to voice their opinions in a civil manner. Even if it does get intense every now and then. The general chat discussions have gone now because a few people couldn't be civil and follow simple forum rules, (personally I always thought general chat was more restrained than some football discussions :D ) but there doesn't seem to be any getting away from it.
Shame, really.

Here's my opening post to this thread, again: " So, now it seems we don’t have resources to add to our attacking threat. We’ve been warned that we won’t see any big signings this window. We don’t have a goalkeeper – oh, sorry we do have Wes Foderingham and some Belgian enigma. Couple of the starting eleven may leave or need to be sold. Second season -syndrome seems to be at least partially confirmed as being true. Teams coming up from the Championship will be stronger than the ones that got relegated. "

What exacty is it that you find so aggressive here? Why should I be banned? Because you and I, we don't seem to be able to see things eye to eye? To me, you seem to want to be banning people just because they are not just as positive as you. Here's some news: a person can care about the club, but not share your taken-for-granted positivism; it's a token of love for the club to be open about issues facing it. I still find your "this 'you're not welcome if you disagree" bullshit is so far from the truth..'" -opinion to be BS itself. Do I have a freedom to say so, are or you going to get me banned? And, btw, what uncivil was it I said, and you referred to? I do acknowledge that I dis use such offensive words like "shitstorm" and idiots" replying to posts ridiculing me. I shouldn't have.

Since my OP, Wilder has told us, that this season is going to be much more difficult than the previous one, but he thinks it's just some deluded folks among fans who would expect it to be otherwise/don't recognize the reality of things. Now the Prince has spoken in Forbes, so there won't be no big signings, just as I said much earlier. Other teams spend, we can't. With the bookies, there are now five teams considered less likely to go down than us. At least one of them has told their recruiment that they have funds up to £ 100 million to use for buying players, and some other of those clubs below us in the bookies' present estimation do keep offering substantial amounts of money for players they are after - not us.

So why can't I be concerned, yet all the while rooting for the Blades and wishing that CWAK will sort it out again? Hell, I've got nothing against winning the PL!

Everyone knows we are desperate for striking options. In 2006 we went down on goal difference with everyone knowing we desperately needed strikers in the end of year transfer window and look how much revenue that's cost us. Don't let this happen again with the lack of funds for one or 2 young speedy strikers, break the bank, money spent wisely reaps rewards.

I find this aggressive:
Mostly because it's the kind of sh*te you're sprouting (sic) out here.
and this:
just because of you behaving like idiots. There are idiots in evey clubs support, at the end of the day.
and this:
The fact that you seem to be so capable to think as to just how such a wind-up merchant would then act like shows real immaturity on your part.
This was a deliberately aggressive and confrontational thread:
Still plenty of games to go for our strikeforce to show just how good they are, deffo worth that close to 40 million put into strenghtening the striking options last summer. Don't agree? Reyt. That's because you're a plastic only interested in PL. Is this really how I/we should take it?
And this:
And f*ck everyone telling as to how I'm supposedly a "wrist-slasher", don't know sh*te etc. F*ck your deluded selves, please.
Not to mention how you answer people with sneering and sarcasm.
That's just a few examples, you're only on 45 posts ffs.

Why should I be banned? Because you and I, we don't seem to be able to see things eye to eye?
You will get banned by the mods if they consider that you are more trouble than you're worth. Nothing to do with whether I agree or disagree with you. If you are constantly winding people up and causing the mods to police the threads you post on, you'll be gone. Plenty of people put up alternative opinions without resorting to the confrontational style of posting you use.

To me, you seem to want to be banning people just because they are not just as positive as you.
Nowhere have I suggested anything close to that. That's the massive chip on your shoulder causing you to make stuff up.

Here's some news: a person can care about the club, but not share your taken-for-granted positivism; it's a token of love for the club to be open about issues facing it.
Again, you're making stuff up. I've been quite critical of the likes of Berge, but don't let facts get in the way.

I still find your "this 'you're not welcome if you disagree" bullshit is so far from the truth..'" -opinion to be BS itself.
Only because you want it to be. Quote a couple of posts from anyone who's said you're not welcome if you disagree.

Do I have a freedom to say so, are or you going to get me banned?
I don't know how you think I'm going to get you banned. The very post you quoted supports the principle of many different opinions being posted on here.

And, btw, what uncivil was it I said, and you referred to? I do acknowledge that I dis use such offensive words like "shitstorm" and idiots" replying to posts ridiculing me. I shouldn't have.
Well there you go, you've answered your own question. You know you're being aggressive and confrontational and shouldn't. Your entire tone in almost all of your posts invites a confrontational response.

I haven't said you can't be. Not once. You seem to think that the only way you can voice a concern is to use confrontational posts, sarcasm, sneering and "taking on" a perceived (and non-existent) happy-clapper mob who won't tolerate the slightest criticism of Wilder and Knill. That is simply wrong.

Hell, I've got nothing against winning the PL!
You do seem to have something against posting reasonable posts and engaging in reasonable discussion. You do seem to have something against balancing your concerns with a post every now and again expressing some smidgeon of joy at possibly the Blades' best season in living memory. You then get all chest-puffy-outy at some people's reactions - including my post which, if you'd even read it properly, was more an explanation of why people assume another Wednesdayite has joined the board (because it happens on a regular basis, don't forget) and was, more than anything, a chance for you to think about just why you've got so much flak in your short stint so far.

Or, of course, you could just carry on in the same vein until the mods (no, not me) get fed up with you. It's up to you, but I won't be replying to you again on this thread because a) I've already wasted far too much time on this reply - which I am sure will be a total waste of time and b) the mods have recently and repeatedly asked for less strife and I am trying (I really am Foxy) to respect that.

Predicting the future demise eh...

That old chestnut of a new member post.....

We are down, unless we suddenly start shitting money and can get a striker or two.

I have us down for relegation this season too. Can't see three teams worse than us. Maybe Fulham? After this I'm struggling. Everyone else has strengthened.

Zero points, or goals against Villa and Leeds and now going into an awful stretch of games.

No signs of improving at the top of the park and now JOC out for the season.

Wouldn't even be surprised if we finished bottom.

I, personally, was writing about the danger of relegation. Never wanted it, don't want it, hope that never will be the case! But as I wrote this two months back, you can well see how deluded a fanbase we have - at least on this forum - and how stupid are those so-called fans who slag everyone off for being too "negative", calling them Wednesdayites and Dingles and fakes etc. etc. In the messages on these pages one will see who said and what.

If/when we go down I think we’ll struggle to bounce back. Our players have been found out, as has the stubborn and rigid system we play.

There will be no money to buy better and the better players like Berge and JOC will be sold.

Personally, I still can’t see wilder having the appetite to start again her from scratch. His change in demeanour this season suggest he’s playing the game and waiting for a PL opportunity, whilst his stock is relatively high. That said with each passing defeat, he’s suffering too.

Disagree.
actually think we’ll be in a good position to bounce back. Can’t see us losing any of our players apart from maybe Egan and Berge.

The parachute payments will mean we will be able to spend just as much as anyone else in the championship, and wilder will play much more attacking against championship opposition.

On paper we have a very good championship side

Just bumping this up to show how genuine fans were treated before the start of the season for only suggesting that we might be in for a tough time this season. OP was written off as a Wednesday supporter/pig/Dingle what ever (mainly and constantly by some guy in Germany, it seems.) Was this okay? Is it okay? Was it okay for the OP to be abused like this? Looking at this prescient view now, almost everyone harbouring the idea that we'll be in for a tough time this season would be deemed as "pork" just as well...

P.S. Ah, also, as personal abuse is forbidden here, has this guy based in nothern Germany been banned by now from the forum? The last I've seen, the answer is no. Smacks like there are some very dubious double standards in play here.

Fuck off

Cunt

😉

you’re a Wednesday fan though, no?

Looks like someone registered another alias to play games, bet one of them is a Man City fan.
I'm no Man City fan. I'm a Blades fan. Just raised this old thread to show, as an example, as to how in the past fellow-supporters have attacked one another, calling them wednesdayites, dingles or what ever, for the single reason these/some fans are not as optimistic as you and many another like you. But what do you do in reaction? You call me a Man City fan... One just can't make this s*ite up... It would be hilarious if it wasn't that daft.

Oh dear, another new poster who has nothing but bad things to say about the club, the players and the manager. What a surprise.
Well, Duck, you appear to be as bad at reading as the West Siberia Angry-Man was, since I never called him a pig. Not once. The point I made, however, applies to you as much as it applied to him. Go and have another read of it. Slowly, perhaps with a dictionary to hand, or someone to help you translate it.
