Normally enjoy the buzz around and about the ground and town before and after derby games but today wanted to avoid them altogether. As I live in Barnsley I parked at Meadowhall and got the Tram to Granville Rd, walked to the ground for about 11.55am without seeing one Wendy or any hint of blue and white. I left after the game and retraced my steps getting to Meadowhall at 2-30pm and back home for 3pm. It was a real pleasure not to be anywhere near the swine and only seeing them at distance from the back of the kop. Due to raucous atmosphere around me didn't/couldn't hear one Wendy song. Perfect. Only disappointment was their goals. A swine free derby day, it can be done. :)

I came down on the 8:10 from Weeds and got the 14:21 back. Went to the Sportsman and like you, other than outside their turnstiles and in the ground, never a swine in sight. Very pleasant!
