The glare made the road direction signs difficult to read I had to slow down when I am about to go past one as I was afraid of missing a turning

Only just seen this. Went via the M42 but Didn’t set off from sheff until 1530, arrived at 1650, had to drive around a bit to find a space got parked up at 1710, in the ground after queuing for 1725. Perfect

Which is exactly what I did. I was on the A38, intending to catch the train at Sutton Coldfield. Somehow I missed the turning and ended up at Wylde Green. The accidental bonus being that it was free parking.

My main issue on the A38 was that I couldn't see through my rear view mirror for much of the way.

Thanks for the heads up Foxy. We took the A38 instead and only put 5 minutes on the journey time. Was all worth it in the end (though it didn’t feel like it 10 minutes in!)

Awful glare from the sun - fortunately it was the same in Leeds so I packed my sunglasses. Helped a little.

Now the Aston Expressway - that's a monster.

7 lanes of tidal flow lights ......
