Average to garbage players who've made you go batshit crazy

There is something ever so Sheffieldish that a thread designed to celebrate and remember the rare good things done by bad players has descended into your archetypal 'who was the shittest player to play for us' discussion. I have never experienced a city so determined to be negative as Sheffield.
I may start an equivalent thread. 'Excellent players who've made you cry'.

I think this was actually a clever ruse to expose posters who don't read OPs and just jump in. Or to expose those who can't understand an OP longer than 10 words.

For some reason I used to like Jean Phillipe Javery. Probably because I was about 10 at the time and I liked his name, remember he scored once in a 3-0 win at Watford.

Special mention to Lecsinel Jean-François, probably liked him for the same reason. Although our season that year went down rapidly after he got injured so might not have been as Bambi on ice as I thought.

Does Katchouro count? Great in his first season, but pretty shit after that.

Around his time we always seemed to concede late goals against Wolves. In 96 or 97 we were 1 up at Molineux and again they equalised in the 90th min, (remember my brother punching a hole in the living room door) only for good old Petr to bag the winner one minute later.

Isn't Petr a manager back in Belarus now?
Same with Borbokis over in Greece.

Jose Baxter was garbage and a septic influence on how we played. But he scored at Wembley so I’m not sure how to deal with that. :)

He really wasn’t garbage. He was easily good enough for League One and our best player for much of his time at United. Also looked really good vs Spurs second leg.

I know he’s tainted his own legacy but come on, he could play a bit!

I don’t deny he had some talent, but his performances were so regularly unacceptable that I couldn’t possibly agree with that.

Any love for Gus Uhlenbeek...? He always reminded me of the kid at school who gave everything he had in P.E, without actually having a clue what he was doing.
