23561 it will be a night match against Millwall with people still on holiday and we've just lost our first match.

No entry fee. I'm just stupid with money. May have to sell a couple of stomp boxes to fund it but it keeps the board interesting whilst we wait for August.

I've got this business idea, a gelato bar that does tattoos out the back.....could be a winner, so if you've any spare dosh, stupid or otherwise, let me know Snowman.

If you're interested, my solicitor, Jimmy 'one-eye', Gotti, will sort out a contract, heavily weighed in my best interests you understand, but like you say, if you are stupid with money you deserve to be offered this at the earliest opportunity.

Following the (successful?) Boxing Day crowd prediction competition won by Seanshoreham last year who acquired £40.00 cash for being lucky, I propose a further interesting competition based upon the first home game of the season. There is a novel twist in that it is two competions in one.

The first competition shall run from now until one hour before the publication of the official EFL 2017 -2018 Championship fixtures. The task will be to guess the Sheffield United crowd figure for the first home game of the season published as the official attendance on that day on the bbc sport website. As we don't know who we will be playing until the publication then this prediction will be a total guess. Could be Pigs at home and a sell out or Ipswich/Burton and ......meh.

Immediately following the publication of the Championship fixtures there shall be a second competition to guess the crowd figure for the first home game. Once again the official attendance shall be taken as published on the bbc sport website following the game. This time we will know who we are playing and the prediction should theoretically be easier! There will be no facility to change the prediction in the first competition whatsoever. However, following the publication of the fixture list each entrant may make one change to his/her prediction in the second competition up to one hour before kick off.

At present the prize for each competition shall be the equivalent of ten very good pints of ale or £35.00, however this may rise with bonuses. If anyone manages to guess the attendance exactly in either competition then the prize will double.

Snowman shall be the sole arbiter of the competition and interpretation. Please refer to Seanshoreham for confirmation that the prize does get paid.

No doubt Foxy/Linz will move this if it is more appropriate in a different section. Good Luck.

Sounds good! I might have a go at that. Do you have to throw a six to start?

May I again thank Snowman for his generosity and inform that the £40 prize was wisely invested in wine women and song. (Well maybe not the second one, unfortunately)

Anyhow, feeling lucky so I'm going for 26650
